Please, tell me about current status of AR9271 chipset support

Actually I think purchase adapter with this chipset. There are several issues.
1. How stable it works with 'open firmware'?
2. Does the adapter works in "Access Point Mode" when using 'open firmware'?

There are some issues but not reproducible by every one, and if you use
latest firmware then it will be able to recover it self in know
sitiations. If there is some thing new, i would like to know it.

Short answer yes. Long answer, if you use it on USB2.0 or USB3.0 and
number of clients is not more then 8, then it should work ok.
