Its still there for me. I just accessed it with Firefox 55. Both xfs.org
starting page and the FAQ.
What do you mean by "squatted"?

redirects to some default wordpress installation. Today it works
accessing http://xfs.org/index.php ; http://xfs.org doesn't work.
https://xfs.org redirects to wordpress.
Apparently it's the person hosting it that installed wordpress and
misconfigured the web server, it's not actually squatted.

All three URLs work for me both in Firefox 55 and in Chromium 60.
