The transaction roll wasn't optional in the deleted code. Could you
please split this into two patches, one to hoist
xfs_attr_{set,remove}_args, and another to add new functionality?
This makes it much easier to see the behavioral changes needed for pptrs
vs. the refactorings done to make code less gross.
