Subject: Formating options for large partition/files
Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2015 14:14:27 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <557ACD23.3020601@ixblue.com> (raw)

I plane to use XFS on a >50TB partition, that will host a few big
(backup/archives) files. Reading the chapter 4 of the online
documentation, I find 2 formating options that could fit :

- max out the allocation block : -b size= 64KB
- max out the sector size : -s size=32KB

I am not an expert, so any light will be appreciated.

Cheers,

Cédric
