Did somebody has successfully been able to use the free Special OCD
Commander for MPC8260 eval board from Macgraigor for their Raven COP
cable.
In our case with an MPC8260ADS boards, we have the OCD Commander works
fine but the Special MPC8260 version tells it can't connect to the Raven
Cop.

Even if you could get it working, it won't take you far. Or do they
have MMU support now?

No, there is still no mmu support but it would allow us to flash
ppcboot. The Special OCD commander for MPC8260 includes the flashing
capability.

You probably have to unlock it first. Some flashes start with sectors
locked, and you have to write an unlock sequence before you can erase
and/or program the sector(s).

Some flash parts have a WP* pin that "protects" the flash boot sectors only. Often, designers will wire that input to a discrete

Well, all seem posible. But the idea is, that BlueCat
provides a monitor that works with VADS. (ADS Revision
Pilot). We do everything by the book but nothing does
happen. Shoulden't it work? Well I'll check the
schematics, to see if this WP_ is really there. We'll
see..
