Subject: Are 7200s still *officially* supported?
Date: Sat, 13 Feb 1999 13:20:09 +1030 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <199902130247.KAA19808@mule.wantree.com.au> (raw)
The subject really says it all: if kernel source releases always need
patching to boot 7200s, does that mean that 7200s are no longer
officially supported?
Either way, what needs patching in the 2.2.1 sources to boot a 7200? I
looked thru' the recent suspect, linux/arch/ppc/kernel/head.S, "applied"
the 2.2 patch, compiled it, but no go.
Thanks in advance if you can help here, (or just try to :-)
