Hi everybody,
I'm thinking about buying a PPC single board computer
to play with it, just for fun.
I have been looking at motorola website but really I
get lost and can not imagine which board is the better
for me so could you give me some advice?
I want to run Linux on it and although I'm ready to
hack around a bit I don't own a lab so I need a board
easy to setup without special hardware.
Some things I will like to do are:
- connecting a CD-ROM or a DVD
- playing with sound so some A/D and D/A converters
will be good
- networking via ethernet 10Mb (or at least a serial
port)
- controlling it with an infrared device
- and maybe some video output
Oh, and I have a limited budget so it should be
cheap...
Can somebody help me?
Thank you
- Salvador Fandiño
