Hi,
I have cross compiled linux for target-ppc on host
ix86.

I wanted to know how can I set the
ulimit -c size permanently to dump core.

I tried doing it in etc/sysctl.conf and etc/rd.sysinit
but doesnot work.

Please let me know the right place and syntax to get
this working.

ps:Do I need to recompile the kernel for this ?

Thanks

This is done at the shell level.
Put your line in /etc/profile.
Read the manual pages for bash.
