A couple of questions:
* Which bootloader are you using?
* Are you sure that the SDRAM initialization is correct?
* Are you sure the information passed from the bootloader to the Linux
kernel (memory size, clocks, ...) is correct?
* Finally: did you disable the software watchdog?
