From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 Date: Fri, 14 Nov 2003 02:10:48 +0100 From: Wilmer van der Gaast To: linuxppc-dev@lists.linuxppc.org Subject: Oops in current linux-2.5-benh Message-ID: <20031114011048.GG24030@gaast.net> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="Mjqg7Yu+0hL22rav" Sender: owner-linuxppc-dev@lists.linuxppc.org List-Id: --Mjqg7Yu+0hL22rav Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline Hello, I assume this list is the best place to report PPC-specific kernel bugs? If not, please tell me and I'll repost somewhere else. Please Cc me on a reply, I'm not on the list. On my iBook 600 (CD-ROM/750fx/Radeon), dmasound_pmac fails to load and dumps an oops. Attaching the log. After this oops, trying to get the laptop to sleep also fails with an oops, I'm also attaching this dump. But this oops might be caused by a previous one; not very useful. Just testing, the pmud oops also happens without a failed dmasound load. Hope this dump is of some use, took me some time to type the last one on another console. :-) Greetings, Wilmer van der Gaast. -- +-------- .''`. - -- ---+ + - -- --- ---- ----- ------+ | lintux : :' : lintux.cx | | OSS Programmer www.bitlbee.org | | at `. `~' debian.org | | www.algoritme.nl www.lintux.cx | +--- -- - ` ---------------+ +------ ----- ---- --- -- - + --Mjqg7Yu+0hL22rav Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=dmasound_oops Total memory = 384MB; using 1024kB for hash table (at c0300000) Linux version 2.6.0-test9 (wilmer@jona) (gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)) #1 Fri Nov 14 01:38:02 CET 2003 Found Uninorth memory controller & host bridge, revision: 192 Mapped at 0xfdf3c000 Found a Pangea mac-io controller, rev: 0, mapped at 0xfdebc000 Processor NAP mode on idle enabled.
