Is anyone interested in going to the OLS this year? I've been working in
Ottawa for 4 years so if you are interested I can give anyone more
information about things to do in Ottawa.

Just heads up for those planning to go, the deadline for early bird
registration is May 1 I think. You save CAN $150 (350 as opposed to 500).

I'll be there this year. Looking forward to meeting some of the
embedded hackers. I'm new on the embedded ppc scene.

I'm going to Ottawa this year.

I'm only worried about the weather. I was told it's pretty hot
there in July :).

If you can give more info about what to do in Ottawa in addition
to drinking beer and attending OLS it'd be great :P

The National Gallery is just about next door as is the parliment
buildings. Across the river in Hull is the Museum of Civilization.=20
I'm going to make damn sure that I get a meal at Darcy McGee's on
Sparks street (Irish pub; have the steak & mushroom crock).

See you there!

Haha...come visit us in Phoenix. Weather is definitely near
perfect in Ottawa, IMHO.

Several of us did the Parliament building tour in '03. It was
pretty interesting. Drinking beer is always a big draw though.

Agreed, I'd rather be in Ottawa in July. Which was nice last year and=20=

hopefully this year as well.

I wondering if we can get a PPC BoF together, however not sure exactly=20=

what we would talk about. Any ideas?

We can talk about the elusive flattened OF tree for ppc32. :) It's
probably smart just to gather for a pub BoF about embedded Linux/PPC
stuff in general. We always have plenty of things...

I'd like to discuss the platform bus a bit. As was discussed a month
or so ago, there is no clean way of matching multiple device drivers
to a single device type, like with PSCs on the MPC5200.

We should try to see if we can find GregKH to discuss what changes
would need to be made to the driver core to allow this.

Good call. I fired an email off to the LKML, but I guess it wasn't
flashy enough to grab his attention. :-)

Cheers,

The schedule is now posted on the OLS website. Thursday and Friday
evenings are set for scheduled BOFs. Why don't we tentatively plan an
unoffical PPCembedded BOF Thursday evening?

We should try to meet each other during the day Wednesday and choose a
good time.
