Does Linux PPC support the new 'Lombard/101' Powerbook G3s?

Does Linux PPC support the new 'Lombard/101' Powerbook G3s?

	... and furthermore, is it possible to install Linux PPC on these in a
dedicated configuration? (i.e. no MacOS on the hard drive) and if not,
what is the minimum amount of disk space that must be assigned to the
MacOS to be able to boot LinuxPPC?

The 2 lbs lighter PBs?  If they're just a bit lighter/faster (nothing too
new, right?) it should.  Again, if they haven't changed much then yes, you
can OF boot it I think.  Otherwise a small (100mb or less?) MacOS install
is needed for BootX.

And after looking at MOSR (the /101 part confused me..) it'll take a bit
of work no doubt.  But hopefully they'll have the Linux Tech job filled so
we might get details(!) or even seeded for HW(!!!).

G3 laptops, can you?

to be of the new world architecture, thus it has sane OF (though 
until we have ELF images that the OF likes, no OF booting).

On a unsupported hardware note: the ethernet controller is a DP83843 
PHYTER made by National Semiconductor, which will need a driver 
written for it.

The note is confusing, but  think this is just the physical layer. I
didn't have a chance to look at the device tree for those machines yet,
but it looks like the motherboard is very similar to the iMac's one.
The Apple ASIC is a paddington, so I beleive ethernet is a bmac+. Almost
everything should work out of the box, the only potential problem I can
see would be possible changes to the PMU device (named "Cuda PMU" on the
developer note, but I'm pretty sure it's still the old PMU we all know
and hate ;-)

Last I knew, only the New machines (iMac/B&W) coudln't OF boot because of
the new ELF loader (or something like that).  Other machines might have
very odd or difficult OFs (1st G3s) but could be OF booted.  Then again, I
don't have a Wallstreet so I can't be certain.

Actually, the Wallstreet PowerBooks OF boot just fine. It's a simple
cmd-opt-o-f key command at startup.

I can get to the OF interface; I just can't get it to boot Linuxppc.
