Subject: Questions about Linuxppc_2_5 on Spruce
Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2001 19:25:17 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3ADB2AFD.DA178401@cern.ch> (raw)
Hi,
Recently we try to use linuxppc_2_5 on IBM Spruce.
But after the Spruce bootloader decompresses the kernel and
shows the message "Now booting the kernel", no more message
can be seen from serial port. We have configured
CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE as yes, it should be able to help to
see the booting message from the serial prot. Does anyone
have any experience about this. Thanks.
Best regards,
Pei-Jie Hong
