Speech Recognition Software

hi,

Has any speech recognition software been successfully ported to LinuxPPC
platform? Also looking for an API that will allow me to play .wav files if
this exists for LinuxPPC.

Michael,

Via Voice was demo'ed on a 405gp platform at this year.

Send a note to ppcsupp@us.ibm.com and they can forwarad your request to
the appropiate person.

Also, I have successfully compiled sox which allows me to play and
record sound.  It needed a patch for the
ppc though.
