However , it seems most of this small LCD panels comes with a parallel interface (8+3 wires) and you need to add a small micro-controller to do the parallel->serial conversion. I was wondering if I could connect the LCD directly to the PPC 8260 and use a linux driver to handle the parallel->serial conversion .
