Hello,

I have compiled Linux Kernel on X86 Platform but new to Cross compilition
stuff.

When I tried to compile with my normal egcs compiler distributed with Red
Hat 6.1
it doesnt recognise -mcpu=860 option.

Can somebody show me a way?

Thanks

Regards,
Naushit

You need to BUILD a cross-compiler version of GCC for the
particular target. GCC does not know about EVERY architecture in a single
compiler executable. Your x86 EGCS compiler only knows about x86 target.
