I checked your thread about 2.6.11-5 on 8xx @

I am working on 860 and I tried both 2.6.11-5 and 2.6.11-7. I get
struck up exactly at same error as you mentiond . i.e
Linux/PPC load: rw root=3D/dev/ram0
Uncompressing Linux...done.
Now booting the kernel
.....nothing after this..
I just want to cross check my config file. Can you please send me your
config file.
