  I have never been successful in building a 2.3.X kernel that will boot
  on my rev-2 G&W G3.  The problem is with booting, not building.
  It would be very helpful just to know if 2.3.x kernels can be booted
  on this platform.  If it is possible, I will try harder, otherwise
  I'll concentrate on other problems.

I have not spent a lot of time on this. But so far, I
don't think the 2.3 kernels will work just yet. There
have been a lot of changes that have affected the
G3/G4 compatibility. I could be wrong, because I have
not spent much time on it (yet).

As soon as I know, it'll be posted on the BlueG3 news
page. :)
