Subject: [Bug 203571] Allow use of SIMD in interrupts on PowerPC
Date: Mon, 13 May 2019 12:39:38 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-203571-206035-OvUKw3IOlS@https.bugzilla.kernel.org/> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <bug-203571-206035@https.bugzilla.kernel.org/>

--- Comment #2 from Shawn Landden (slandden@gmail.com) ---
X86 manages to allow SIMD in interrupts through some very careful code in
arch/x86/kernel/fpu/core.c (starting with irq_fpu_usable())
PowerPC can do the same.
