I've gotten my hands on a Ramix PMC 233 harddisk and now I would like
to use it under Linux on a MVME 2400. Has anyone done this? Are there
any drivers available?

Doesn't it look like a standard IDE interface ?
What does lspci -vvxxx report ?

I talked to Ramix and they say that it does indeed look like an
IDE-controller.
Now I only have to wrestle the disk from our VxWorks-people....
