syzbot tried to test the proposed patch but the build/boot failed:
./include/linux/stddef.h:16:33: error: invalid use of undefined type 'struct task_struct'
./arch/arm/include/asm/processor.h:44:24: error: invalid application of 'sizeof' to incomplete type 'struct thread_info'
