The system is working perfect for serveral (1-10) hours (with reading video images all the time using the Java Media Framework), but than it reboots without any messages. It does probably not reboot without webcam (tested 17 hours with not loaded usb modules). The time to reboot seems random, the reboot can not be produced by system load. I have kernel debugging turned on and added some debugging messages for the webcam. The reboot does not happen at the same position with respect to the debugging messages. I log the kernel messages over the serial console. Questions: 1. What else can I do to debug the problem 2. What software reasons may cause a reboot 3. Has anybody simelar problems I will attach kernel message log: Wed Oct 01 03:05:51 GMT 2003 Webcam: transferDatpwc pwc_ioctl called. a called pwc PWC IOCTL called 2 pwc VIDIOCSYNC called (0). pwc VIDIOCSYNC: frame ready. pwc Decompressing frame 223209 pwc VIDIOCSYNC: frame ready, no Error. pwc pwc_ioctl called. pwc PWC IOCTL called 2 pwc VIDIOCMCAPTURE: 320x240, frame 0, format 15 pwc VIDIOCMCAPTURE2: 320x240, frame 0, format 15 pwc VIDIOCMCAPTURE3: 320x240, frame 0, format 15 pwc VIDIOCMCAPTURE4: 320x240, frame 0, format 15 pwc VIDIOCMCAPTURE done. pwc Assigning sequence number 223212.
