Guess this was missed? I'm building mga's drm into the kernel. Of
course this isn't a problem when building as module. I build a lot of
drivers as module though but judging from a lack of mails about this i'm
assuming the number of effected drivers is tiny.

It would help if you gave some details. Like what messages, which
binutils?
