The thing to do is to tell the pointy-haired boss that
without the 'i' he is being shortchanged 2.5% of the
RAM he's paying for.

If that doesn't work, tell him the 'i' has always been
there between the K and the B.  Couldn't he see it?
He must need new reading glasses.

That will never work.  So he bought 1 KB.  He just got 1024 bytes, but
only paid for 1000 bytes.  What a deal.
