With 2.4.26-pre5 I am seeing the following error at boot up.

2.4.26-pre4 works fine. This is on a Fujitsu-Siemens C-1020 laptop
running Fedora Core 1

This appears to be a regression in ACPICA 20040311.
I've snagged the info you collectd and put it in this bug report:
