Subject: reiserfs on top of md/lvm problems
Date: Sat, 30 Apr 2005 00:35:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1114814138.991.10.camel@localhost.localdomain> (raw)

I was about to set up a test environment but didn't get very
far. This is in relation to the thread:
"ftp server crashes on heavy load: possible scheduler bug".
This happens with both 4KSTACKS and without.

Setup is 5 IDE disks in raid5 on /dev/md0
lvcreate /dev/md0
vgcreate vg00 /dev/md0
lvcreate -L 20G -n slap1 vg00
lvcreate -L 20G -n slap2 vg00

And after that I get the report below.
btw, ext3 survives this fine so there appears to be nothing wrong with the setup.
Does reiserfs have bad interaction with md/lvm?
