Subject: [Tech-board-discuss] Linux Foundation Technical Advisory Board Elections and Nomination process
Date: Fri, 02 Sep 2011 07:31:48 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1314973908.2965.6.camel@dabdike> (raw)
The elections for five of the ten members of the Linux Foundation
Technical Advisory Board[TAB] are held every year, currently the
election will be at the 2011 Kernel Summit at one of the Joint events
(probably on the Tuesday 25th October) and will be open to all attendees
of the Weeks events (Kernel Summit, LinuxCon and ELC).
Anyone is eligible to stand for election, simply send your nomination
to:
Tech-board-discuss@lists.linux-foundation.org
We currently have five nominees (the incumbents):
Alan Cox <alan@lxorguk.ukuu.org.uk>
Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
Jonathan Corbet <corbet@lwn.net>
Theodore Ts'o <tytso@mit.edu>
Greg Kroah-Hartman <greg@kroah.com>
The deadline for receiving nominations is up until the beginning of the
event where the election is held (Currently thought to be the evening of
October 25th Central European Standard time). Although, please remember
if you're not going to be present that things go wrong with both
networks and mailing lists, so get your nomination in early).
