Yes. I think it's a defect in how sparse treats string concatenation. That style: printk("%s\n", #ifdef FOO "foo" #endif #ifdef BAR "bar" #endif "string"); is pretty common in the kernel sources. The patch itself is otherwise fine, but perhaps unnecessary.
