[PATCH v2 00/12] staging/lustre: sync with extern tree, set 2

Hi Greg,

PATCH 1 reverts previous commit ad8dbc9. I forgot to remove it from
my local queue after the discussion last time and ended up resending it.
Sorry for the noise...

PATCH 2 is updated to fix checkpatch error about return().
PATCH 3 and 4 are extracted from one external tree commit to do separate things.
PATCH 5 and 6 are from one external tree commit as well for the same reason.
PATCh 12 is updated to remove extra GPL notice that kernel already has one.

Please see if they can be merged.
