Hello,

I'm now running Linux 3.0.8 and I still see this issue:

My_PC -> 16-port unmanageable Ethernet switch -> Cisco Ethernet switch -> Cisco PPPoE concentrator (the
first device I can ping via PPPoE connection)

Your issue might not be the same as the one fixed by the subject patch.
Please file a bug at http://e1000.sf.net with the information you have
provided in this email as well as a description of the type of traffic is
going on when you see the packet drops happen.
