If i2c-hid and hid-rmi are not used, you might want to try setting psmouse.synaptics_intertouch to 1 and report this to linux-input@vger.kernel.org. Add LEN2046 to the SMB list to eliminate this warning. Tested on a ThinkPad X270 with kernel 7.1.0 and Fedora 43.
