I have a Compaq Prolient DL 360, 1 PIII 1 GHz, 2 scsi hd in Raid 1 2 ethernet controlers eepro100 (only one is used) and ext3 fs. The server hangs when (it seems) we want to read or cp big file (140 Mo). The computer is not near me but, i know that the kernel screem on the console: Invalid operand 00000 (i'm not sur about thenumber of 0 because someone else read for me and doesn't remember) I found on the internet that their is problem whith 2.4.14 and cpqarray. I want to know if it's true and if the problem is now out whith other versions ? Excuse-me for my bad english and thank you very much.
