Well, if anybody wants to try the combo:
2.4.18-pre7 +
00-vm-23 + O(1)-sched-J9 + mini-lowlatency + read-latency + ide-20020119
take a look at
http://giga.cps.unizar.es/~magallon/linux/2.4.18-pre7-slb/
And you get BProc 3.1.6 as a plus.
At least, my box seems to fly and still has not crashed...
