Subject: [BUG] Qlogic ISP driver hangs on 2.4.18/9
Date: Sat, 15 Jun 2002 10:50:16 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20020615095016.GA470@beezly.org.uk> (raw)

I'm running a qlogic isp card (actually on a Sun Sunswift PCI card) in
an x86 machine and I keep seeing the following oops

This problem appears with 2.4.18, 2.4.18-pre9, 2.4.18-pre10 and
2.4.18-pre10-ac2

PLEASE NOTE! The following information was copied out **by hand** so I
don't vouch it for being 100% accurate (and it's late here)... but it
certainly seems to be pointing the error in the way of the qlogicisp
driver.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

ksymoops 2.4.5 on i586 2.4.19-pre10. Options used
     -V (default)
     -k /proc/ksyms (default)
     -l /proc/modules (default)
     -o /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre10/ (default)
     -m /boot/System.map-2.4.19-pre10 (default)

Warning: You did not tell me where to find symbol information. I will
assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are running
right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol resolution.
If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log, you can get
more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and where to find
map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
