Subject: [RELEASE] Userspace RCU 0.7.12 and 0.8.4
Date: Sat, 8 Mar 2014 13:52:10 +0000 (UTC) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <2003732716.34418.1394286730587.JavaMail.zimbra@efficios.com> (raw)

liburcu is a LGPLv2.1 userspace RCU (read-copy-update) library. This
data synchronization library provides read-side access which scales
linearly with the number of cores. It does so by allowing multiples
copies of a given data structure to live at the same time, and by
monitoring the data structure accesses to detect grace periods after
which memory reclamation is possible.
liburcu-cds provides efficient data structures based on RCU and
lock-free algorithms. Those structures include hash tables, queues,
stacks, and doubly-linked lists.
Noteworthy:
There is a minor imperfection in the prior version (0.8.3/0.7.11)
corrected by this release. However, it is not required for
correctness. We are doing this release because clients will
base their packages (and did their testing) on those commits.
Changelog:
2014-03-08 Userspace RCU 0.8.4
* Fix: move wait loop increment before first conditional block
2014-03-08 Userspace RCU 0.7.12
