Hi,

I am doing a new install of 2.6.3 on an Acer 1353XV.

If I have anything more than acpi=ht loading yenta_socket causes a hang
requiring hard reset.

Boot gets as far as: (copied from screen)

Mar 10 11:23:41 mercury kernel: Linux Kernel Card Services

Even without pcmcia in, apci seems unreliable, particularly ac and fan
modules. I get random hangs synchronised with the fan starting which
suugests an acpi related event. With just button and battery seems stable

Logs always empty

Thanks. Unfortunately, still hangs at the same point. Any other
suggestions? Would ACPI_DEBUG be helpful?
