I switch consoles to 1024x768(75Hz,32bpp) mode.

I launch a bootsplash and see that consoles switches
to a strange resolution and horrible aspect ratio.

Even without launching a bootsplash while switching
to another console I observe above effect.

# step 3.
I switch consoles again to 1024x768(75Hz,32bpp) mode
and get an oops.

I've tested it on bootsplash-3.1.4-sp3 ported to 2.6.8rc2.
