2.6.17.2, libata for 2.6.17 from Tejun Heo
(http://home-tj.org/files/libata-tj-stable/libata-tj-2.6.17-20060625.tar.bz2),
pata_ali from Jeff Garzik tree patched to add parameter to set transfer mask
for ATAPI (as already posted it does not detect CD-ROM in DMA so I clamp it
to PIO4). System - TOSHIBA Portege 4000.

Several times after switching to libata system hung on resume from suspend to
RAM. It is stuck attempting to initialize hard drive and doing recovery in
loop.

Unfortunately this notebook does not have any serial port so it is somewhat
hard capture any console output during resume.

I have been using STR with legacy IDE drivers without any problems so far. Any
idea how to debug it welcome.

Thank you
