Subject: [43/44] econet: disallow NULL remote addr for sendmsg(), fixes CVE-2010-3849
Date: Tue, 07 Dec 2010 16:04:42 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20101208000643.917103359@clark.site> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20101208003205.GA4286@kroah.com>
2.6.27-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let us know.
------------------
From: Phil Blundell <philb@gnu.org>
commit fa0e846494792e722d817b9d3d625a4ef4896c96 upstream.
Later parts of econet_sendmsg() rely on saddr != NULL, so return early
with EINVAL if NULL was passed otherwise an oops may occur.
