Subject: [ 54/72] ARM: omap: fix oops in arch/arm/mach-omap2/vp.c when pmic is not found
Date: Mon, 27 Feb 2012 17:05:23 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20120228010434.139158484@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20120228010511.GA8453@kroah.com>

3.2-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

------------------

From: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

commit d980e0f8d858c6963d676013e976ff00ab7acb2b upstream.

When the PMIC is not found, voltdm->pmic will be NULL. vp.c's
initialization function tries to dereferences this, which causes an
oops:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000
