Subject: [ 00/56] 3.6.1-stable review
Date: Thu, 4 Oct 2012 14:15:21 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20121004211152.101901246@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
Note, I don't normally do stable releases in the middle of the -rc1
merge window, but by doing that, they get really big and delay getting
bugfixes to users who want/need them. So I've picked through the
patches submitted for the stable releases so far, and taken the "safer"
ones (i.e. mostly all small driver fixes). I still have a lot more
patches in the queue to be applied after this release, so if you don't
see a patch you have submitted in here, please wait for the next stable
release before worrying.
------
This is the start of the stable review cycle for the 3.6.1 release.
There are 56 patches in this series, all will be posted as a response
to this one. If anyone has any issues with these being applied, please
let me know.
Responses should be made by Sat Oct 6 21:11:02 UTC 2012.
Anything received after that time might be too late.
The whole patch series can be found in one patch at:
kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/stable-review/patch-3.6.1-rc1.gz
and the diffstat can be found below.
thanks,
greg k-h
