Subject: [ 05/38] wireless: drop invalid mesh address extension frames
Date: Wed, 14 Nov 2012 20:10:02 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20121115040933.247418631@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20121115040932.918082372@linuxfoundation.org>
3.0-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
commit 7dd111e8ee10cc6816669eabcad3334447673236 upstream.
The mesh header can have address extension by a 4th
or a 5th and 6th address, but never both. Drop such
frames in 802.11 -> 802.3 conversion along with any
frames that have the wrong extension.
