Subject: [RFC][PATCH 03/19] tracing: Rename ftrace_event.h to trace_events.h
Date: Thu, 14 May 2015 11:13:18 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150514151918.158139231@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20150514151315.746637810@goodmis.org

[-- Attachment #1: 0003-tracing-Rename-ftrace_event.h-to-trace_events.h.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 46632 bytes --]

From: "Steven Rostedt (Red Hat)" <rostedt@goodmis.org>

The term "ftrace" is really the infrastructure of the function hooks,
and not the trace events. Rename ftrace_event.h to trace_events.h to
represent the trace_event infrastructure and decouple the term ftrace
from it.
