Subject: [RFC][PATCH 10/19] tracing: Rename FTRACE_MAX_EVENT to TRACE_EVENT_TYPE_MAX
Date: Thu, 14 May 2015 11:13:25 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150514151919.507599896@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20150514151315.746637810@goodmis.org
[-- Attachment #1: 0010-tracing-Rename-FTRACE_MAX_EVENT-to-TRACE_EVENT_TYPE_.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 2981 bytes --]
From: "Steven Rostedt (Red Hat)" <rostedt@goodmis.org>
The name "ftrace" really refers to the function hook infrastructure. It
is not about the trace_events. Rename the max trace_event type size to
something more descriptive and appropriate.
