Subject: [PATCH 3.10 11/20] serial: 8250: dont bind to SMSC IrCC IR port
Date: Sat, 19 Sep 2015 10:27:26 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150919171738.251724970@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20150919171737.461560711@linuxfoundation.org>
3.10-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: "Maciej S. Szmigiero" <mail@maciej.szmigiero.name>
commit ffa34de03bcfbfa88d8352942bc238bb48e94e2d upstream.
SMSC IrCC SIR/FIR port should not be bound to by
(legacy) serial driver so its own driver (smsc-ircc2)
can bind to it.
