Subject: [PATCH 5/7] x86/mce: Convert threshold_bank.cpus from atomic_t to refcount_t
Date: Fri, 19 May 2017 11:39:13 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20170519093915.15413-6-bp@alien8.de> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20170519093915.15413-1-bp@alien8.de>
From: Elena Reshetova <elena.reshetova@intel.com>
The refcount_t type and corresponding API should be used instead
of atomic_t when the variable is used as a reference counter. This
allows to avoid accidental refcounter overflows that might lead to
use-after-free situations.
