Subject: [PATCH v2 09/37] hrtimer: Switch for loop to _ffs() evaluation
Date: Sun, 22 Oct 2017 23:39:47 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20171022214052.110085395@linutronix.de> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20171022213938.940451689@linutronix.de

[-- Attachment #1: hrtimer_Switch_for_loop_to__ffs_evaluation.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 2340 bytes --]

From: Anna-Maria Gleixner <anna-maria@linutronix.de>

Looping over all clock bases to find active bits is suboptimal if not all
bases are active.

Avoid this by converting it to a __ffs() evaluation. The functionallity is
outsourced into an own function and is called via a macro as suggested by
Peter Zijlstra.
