Subject: [PATCH AUTOSEL 5.15 30/36] time/debug: Fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup()
Date: Sun, 26 Feb 2023 09:48:38 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20230226144845.827893-30-sashal@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20230226144845.827893-1-sashal@kernel.org>

From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

[ Upstream commit 5b268d8abaec6cbd4bd70d062e769098d96670aa ]

When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it,
otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just
call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at
once.
