Subject: [PATCH v7 1/5] iio: core: Add IIO_VAL_EMPTY type
Date: Mon, 25 Aug 2025 20:10:03 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20250825-mcp9600-iir-v7-1-2ba676a52589@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20250825-mcp9600-iir-v7-0-2ba676a52589@kernel.org>
In certain situations it may be necessary to return nothing when reading
an attribute.
For example, when a driver has a filter_type of "none" it should not
print any information for frequency or available frequencies.
