Subject: [for-next][PATCH 05/20] tracing: Have all triggers expect a file parameter
Date: Sun, 08 Feb 2026 21:20:31 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260209022052.868107499@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20260209022026.627895421@kernel.org
From: Steven Rostedt <rostedt@goodmis.org>
When the triggers were first created, they may not have had a file
parameter passed to them and things needed to be done generically.
But today, all triggers have a file parameter passed to them. Remove the
generic code and add a "if (WARN_ON_ONCE(!file))" to each trigger.
